Quick panel and notifications
Separate notification and quick panels
Instantly access the panel you need with more space for quick settings. Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the quick settings panel. Swipe down from anywhere else on the top of the screen to open the notification panel.
Customize your quick panel
Create the quick panel layout that’s right for you. You can tap the pencil icon at the top of the quick panel to enter Edit mode, then move buttons and controls up and down to match your preferences.
Live notifications
Stay on top of what’s happening right now. Live notifications show you the progress of ongoing activities like timers, voice recordings, exercises, and more so you can take quick actions related to them. Live notifications will appear in the Now bar on the Lock screen, on the status bar, and at the top of the notification panel.

Circle it, find it. Hear it, find it
Circle to Search with Google allows you to search anything on your screen and get information faster with AI Overviews. Just circle an object—including images, videos, or text—and you’ll get results immediately. You can even search for a song that you hear in the moment without switching apps.

New Camera layout
Camera buttons, controls, and modes have been reorganized to make it easier to find the features you need and to give you a clearer preview of the picture you’re taking or the video you’re recording.
Mode selection improvements
The More modes menu has been redesigned. Instead of filling the whole screen and blocking the camera view, you can now choose a mode from a small pop-up that only covers the bottom of the screen.
Enhanced zoom controls
It’s now easier to choose the right zoom level. A 2x zoom button is now available by default, and additional zoom options appear after you select a lens.
Upgraded filter experience
Camera filters have been completely revamped. New filters are now available and existing filters have been improved. Each filter allows fine-tuned adjustments of intensity, color temperature, contrast and saturation, making it easier to get the look you want. You can also create custom filters based on the style and mood of pictures you choose.
Save exposure settings for each mode
Control how bright or dark your images are with the Exposure option in the camera quick controls. After you set the exposure for a mode, it will stay set in that mode even if you switch to a new mode and come back.
Improved Pro/Pro video modes
Pro and Pro video modes have a simplified layout that makes it easier to focus on the picture you’re taking or the video you’re recording. A new zoom control is available whenever you’re recording in pro video mode that lets you control the zoom speed for smooth transitions. Mic controls in Pro video mode have been moved to quick controls.
Play audio while recording videos
You can now record videos without interrupting music, podcasts, or other audio content you’re listening to. Just turn on Audio playback in Advanced video options.
Line up the perfect shot
Get help adjusting the camera’s position with grid lines and levels. Grid lines can now be turned on and off separately from the horizontal level. There’s also a new option to show a vertical level.

Count down the days to an important event
It’s easier than ever to create a countdown widget for an event on your calendar. Go to the event details, then select Add countdown widget from the more options menu. A widget will appear on your home screen showing the number of days until your birthday, anniversary, vacation, or any other event that you choose.
Move all events from one calendar to another
Avoid the hassle of moving events one at a time. You can now move all events from one calendar to another, such as moving all events from the calendar on your phone to a cloud-based calendar.

Tap Nearby devices in the quick panel to see devices available near you, then drag a device to your phone to instantly connect. You can also tap on a device to see the features available when connected to your phone. For example, when you tap on a TV, you’ll see an option to start Smart View.

Easily find the right device to share with. Devices signed in to your Samsung account and devices you’ve shared with in the past will appear at the top of the list so they’re easy to find.
Continue sharing over the internet
Finish file transfers even when devices are far apart. When sharing files using Quick Share, if the devices become too far apart to continue a direct transfer, the transfer will continue seamlessly over the internet using Wi-Fi or mobile data.

New theft protection features help protect your apps and data in case your phone is stolen. The screen will lock automatically if theft is detected or if your network connection is lost, or you can lock the screen manually by going to android.com/lock. You can also require biometric verification before changing sensitive settings.

Find out about security risks and solve them quickly. Knox Matrix monitors supported devices signed in to your Samsung account and lets you how to solve security risks if any are found.
Stay safe from security threats
Auto Blocker does even more to protect you from cyber attacks when Maximum restrictions is turned on. 2G networks are now blocked, and your phone won’t automatically reconnect to non-secure Wi-Fi networks. These restrictions can help prevent an attacker from intercepting your network traffic.

More options for power saving
You now have more control over what happens when your phone is in Power saving mode. Choose exactly the features you want to limit to save the amount of battery that’s right for you. You can even change these options while Power saving is on.
More control over battery protection
When you turn on Battery protection, you can now adjust the maximum charging level anywhere between 80% and 95%.
New charging effect
When you plug in a charger, the charging confirmation is smaller and appears at the bottom of the screen instead of the middle to prevent interruptions while still making it easy to check the charging status.
Accessible to everyone
Zoom in and out with just one finger
Zooming in and out just got easier. For people who have difficulty using pinch zoom, you can now activate 1-finger zoom from the Assistant menu. Swipe up or right to zoom in. Swipe down or left to zoom out.
Enhanced screen controls
The Assistant menu now does even more to help you control the screen. You can now double tap and touch and hold just by tapping a single button. New scrolling controls let you move around the screen a specific distance by tapping the start and end points on the screen.
Customize your touch interactions
Get help choosing the settings that are most comfortable for you. New tests are available for the Touch and hold delay, Tap duration, and Ignore repeated touches settings. The test can tell you if your current settings are appropriate or need adjustments.
Even more improvements
Get useful suggestions in Smart select
When you select part of the screen with Smart select, useful actions will be suggested based on what you selected. If event details are part of your selection, you’ll have an option to add it to your calendar. If you select an image, options for editing the image or improving its quality will be suggested.
Watch videos again
In Video Player, a button will appear at the end of each video that lets you start the video over again from the beginning.
Improved contacts list
For a more consistent experience, the same contact list now appears in both the Phone app and Contacts app. Menus and options are the same in both locations so you can always find what you’re looking for. When searching for contacts, contacts you’ve searched for frequently appear at the top of the search results, helping you find the right person quickly.
Quickly add boarding passes to Samsung Wallet
When you view a supported airline or travel webpage that includes a boarding pass in Samsung Internet, a button will appear so you can add it to Samsung Wallet quickly and easily.
Activity forecasts
It’s now easy to check if the weather is suitable for outdoor activities such as running, gardening, camping, and more. You can choose up to 3 activities to show in the Weather app.
Custom place labels

Get special AI recommendations for enhancing your photos and videos. You'll find options for adding star trails, colorizing, and more. Suggestions appear when you tap the i button in Gallery.
Copy and paste from one image to another
Add a missing element to your picture. Just clip an object from an image in Gallery, then go to the image where you want to paste it and choose Paste from clipboard in the More options menu.
More accurate image clipping

Quick panel
New button layout
The quick panel has a new layout that makes it easier to access the features you use most. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth now have their own dedicated buttons at the top of the screen, while visual features, like Dark mode and Eye comfort shield have been moved to the bottom. Other quick settings buttons appear in a customizable area in the middle.
Instantly access the full quick panel
By default, a compact quick panel with notifications appears when you swipe down from the top of the screen. Swiping down again hides notifications and shows the expanded quick panel. If you turn on Quick settings instant access, you can view the expanded quick panel by swiping just once from the right side of the top of the screen. Swiping down from the left side shows notifications.
Quickly access brightness control
The brightness control bar now appears by default in the compact quick panel when you swipe down once from the top of the screen for quicker and easier brightness adjustments.
Improved album art display
While playing music or videos, album art will cover the entire media controller in the notification panel if the app playing the music or video provides album art.

Interactive map view

Simple and intuitive design
The overall layout of the Camera app has been simplified. Quick settings buttons on the preview screen have been redesigned to be easier to understand.
Custom camera widgets
You can add custom camera widgets to your Home screen. You can set each widget to start in a specific shooting mode and save pictures in an album of your choice.
More alignment options for watermarks
You can now choose whether your watermark appears at the top or bottom of your photos.
Scan documents easily
The Scan document feature has been separated from Scene optimizer so you can scan documents even if Scene optimizer is turned off. The new Auto scan lets you scan documents automatically whenever you take a picture of a document. After a document is scanned, you’ll be taken to the edit screen where you can rotate your document to align it the way you want.
Quick access to resolution settings
A resolution button is now available in the quick settings at the top of the screen in Photo and Pro modes so you can quickly change the resolution of photos you take.
Easier video size options
A pop-up now appears when you tap the video size button, making it easier to see all the options and choose the right ones.
Keep your pictures level
When grid lines are turned on in Camera settings, a level line will now appear in the middle of the screen while using the rear camera in all modes except Panorama. The line will move to show whether your picture is level with the ground.
Quality optimization
You can choose between 3 levels of quality optimization for the pictures you take. Choose Maximum to get the highest quality pictures. Choose Minimum to take pictures as quickly as possible. You can also choose Medium to get the best balance of speed and quality.
Turn off swipe up/down to switch cameras
Swiping up or down to switch between the front and rear cameras is now optional. If you’re concerned about accidental swipes, you can turn this off in Settings.
Apply effects more easily
Filter and face effects now use a dial instead of a slider making it easier to make precise adjustments with just one hand.

While viewing a picture or video, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to go to detail view. This screen now provides quick access to effects and editing features you can immediately apply.

Timeline layout
Studio lets you view your entire project as a timeline containing multiple video clips. The multi-layered structure lets you add clips, stickers, subtitles, and other objects and adjust their position and length easily.
Save and edit projects
You can also save unfinished movie projects to continue editing them later.

Video player controls are now easier than ever. Buttons with similar functions have been grouped together, and the Play button has been moved to the center of the screen.

New look for the Home screen
The Samsung Health Home screen has been completely revamped. More information is shown, while bold fonts and colors make it easier to see the information you need most. Custom water cup sizes

Refined reminder list view
The main list view has been redesigned. You can manage categories at the top of the screen. Below the categories, your reminders will be shown organized by date. The layout for reminders containing images and web links has also been enhanced.
New reminder categories
The Place category contains reminders that alert you when you're in a specific place, and the No alert category contains reminders that don't provide any alerts.
More options for creating reminders
When sharing content to the Reminder app, you'll get full editing options before your reminder is created. You can also take pictures using the camera when creating a reminder.
Create all-day reminders
You can now create reminders for an entire day and customize the time you want to be alerted about them.

Play videos in the background
Keep playing video sound even if you leave the current tab or leave the Internet app.
Enhanced tab list view for large screens
When using Internet on a large screen, such as a tablet in landscape view or Samsung DeX, tab list view will be shown in 2 columns so you can see more information on the screen at the same time.

Change the appearance of your Lock screen
Set up different Lock screens with their own wallpaper and clock style for when you're driving, working, exercising, and more. Try a dark wallpaper for Sleep mode or a calming wallpaper for Relax mode. When you edit the Lock screen for a mode, you’ll see that wallpaper whenever that mode is turned on.

You can now start a routine when an app is playing media.

When an app appears in your search results, you can touch and hold the app to get quick access to actions you can perform using the app. For example, if you search for the Calendar app, buttons for adding an event or searching your calendar will appear. App actions will also appear in search results on their own if you search for the name of the action instead of the app.
My Files
Free up storage space
Recommendation cards will appear to help you free up storage space. My Files will recommend deleting unnecessary files, give you tips for setting up cloud storage, and also let you know which apps on your phone are using the most storage space.
Integrated Trash with Gallery and Voice Recorder
My Files, Gallery, and Voice Recorder Trash features have been combined into one. When you open the Trash in My Files, you’ll be able to see files, pictures, videos, and voice recordings you’ve deleted all together, along with options for restoring or permanently deleting.
Copy files with 2 hands
Touch and hold the file you want to copy with one hand, then use your other hand to navigate to the folder where you want to copy it.
Samsung Pass
Safer sign-ins with passkeys
Use passkeys to sign in to supported apps and websites. Unlike passwords, your passkey is only stored on your phone and can't be leaked through a website security breach. Passkeys also protect you from phishing attacks because they only work on the website or app where they were registered.
Settings
Smarter Airplane mode
If you turn on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth while Airplane mode is on, your phone will remember. The next time you use Airplane mode, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth will remain on instead of turning off.
Easier access to battery settings
Battery settings now have their own top-level settings menu so you can easily check your battery usage and manage battery settings.
Block security threats
Get an extra level of protection for your apps and data. Auto Blocker prevents unknown apps from being installed, checks for malware, and blocks malicious commands from being sent to your phone using a USB cable

機器のクイックパネル内のメディア出力先をタップすれば使用可能なChromecastデバイスが表示されます。音楽またはその他のオーディオコンテンツを再生したい場合、再生するデバイスをただタップするだけです。

通知
許可した通知のみを受信
アプリを初めて利用する場合、そのアプリの通知を希望するかどうか尋ねられます。アプリからの通知が不要であれば、任意に通知の拒否を選ぶことができます。
アプリ通知コントロールに簡単にアクセス
アプリからの通知が多すぎますか？ 再編成した通知設定で上部にアプリ通知操作を置くことで、今までより簡単に通知をブロックできます。通知パネルの下部のボタンを使用して、直接アプリ通知設定に行くこともできます。

追加された変更点
同時に複数のタイマーを利用
タイマーが一つ動作中でも、時計アプリの新たなタイマーをすぐに開始できるようになりました。
カレンダーイベント招待者に関するその他のコントロールカレンダーアプリ内のGoogleカレンダーにイベントを追加すると、そのイベントに他の誰が招待されているかを招待者が見ることができるかどうかを選択でき、招待者が他の人を招待できるかどうかも選択できます。
イベントにビデオ会議を追加カレンダーアプリ内のGoogleカレンダーイベントを作成すると、同時にビデオ会議をセットできます。イベントに招待された人は皆、ビデオ会議へのリンクを受信します。
スタンプをGoogleカレンダーに追加
イベントが一目で見やすくなるようにカレンダーアプリ内のGoogleカレンダーイベントにスタンプを追加します。スタンプはカレンダー表示とアジェンダ表示の両方で示されます。
今日が期限のリマインダーを上部に表示
新しい今日のカテゴリは、今日が期限のリマインダーのみを表示します。リマインダーアプリ内のメイン画面の上部で、今日が期限のリマインダーを確認することもできます。
完了したリマインダーを表示、非表示
どのカテゴリでも完了したリマインダーを表示したり非表示にしたりできます。すでに完了したことを確認するのに表示したり、まだ完了しなくてはならないことに集中し続けるよう非表示にしたりします。
リマインダーのため適切な表示を選択
シンプルな表示で一度に画面にもっと多くのリマインダーを表示させたり、締切日や反復状況のような詳細などを拡大表示させたり選択します。
再構成されたデジタルウェルビーイング
新しいダッシュボードにより、もっとはっきりした詳しい使用方法が分かり、アプリタイマーやｽｸﾘｰﾝﾀｲﾑレポートのような必要な機能に簡単にアクセスできるようになりました。
緊急時にヘルプを利用
機器がポケットの中にあったり、話すことができなかったりしても、サイドキーを素早く5回押せば緊急通報サービスを呼び出せます。
統合された緊急連絡先リスト
緊急時に連絡を取りたい人を含む緊急連絡先リストを作成します。時計と機器の両方で同じ連絡先リストが緊急機能向けに利用できます。

Camera
Enjoy a simpler layout while you take pictures and videos. The scene optimizer button only appears in Photo mode if there’s low light or you’re scanning a document. Portrait and Night mode settings are now tucked away and more intuitive.
Lens and zoom
Lens icons show the magnification level, so you know how much you’re zoomed in.
Video that never misses a moment
Recording starts immediately after you tap the Record button, instead of when you release it, so that you catch those precious moments before they’re gone. In Photo mode, you can touch and hold the Shutter button to start recording a quick video, then drag your finger to the Lock icon to continue recording without holding down the Shutter.
Keep your single takes going
Add 5 seconds of extra time to Single take captures so you don’t miss a moment even if it goes into overtime. It’s also easier to select what you want to capture.
Pro photography
Stay in control with the redesigned Pro and Pro video mode settings. The cleaner look helps you focus on the shot, and the new level indicators added to the grid lines help you keep shots balanced.
Enhanced scanning
Scan documents, then tap the magnifying glass to zoom in and edit them immediately. You can also do more after scanning QR codes, like calling or emailing someone instead of just adding their contact info to your phone.
Portraits for pets
Take beautiful pictures of your furry friends with various portrait effects. Portrait mode now works with cats and dogs on both the front and rear cameras. Some portrait effects can only be applied after you take the picture.

Sort through albums more easily—even if they’ve got tons of pictures. In fact, you can sort albums by how many pictures and videos they contain so that your favorite and most used albums are always at the top of the list. A cover image also appears at the top of the screen when you view an album to give you a better feel for what the album contains.
Worry-free remastering
Revert remastered pictures to their original versions at any time, even after they’re saved, so you never have to worry about losing the original.
More control over information
Change or remove the date, time, and location of your pictures to correct it or keep it private. You can also select several pictures and edit their information at once.
Photo and video editor
Sometimes your photos and videos need a few tweaks. One UI’s Photo and Video editors are there to make your pictures look their best before you share them.

Use an emoji to cover the face of a shy friend or add stickers to create fun pictures and videos.

Have a friend on the other side of the world? It’s easier to see if it’s a good time to contact them. The dual clock widget now shows different background colors for each city depending on whether it’s day or night.
Switch from texts to calls
Texting not cutting it? Tap the person’s name at the top of the conversation to see their details or start a voice or video call.
More search results in Messages
Now you can search your messages for photos, videos, web links, and more. The results are all filtered so you can jump right to what you’re looking for.
Easier search in My Files
Find the file you’re looking for, even if there’s a typo or the name doesn’t match exactly. The Recent files area has also been expanded to help you quickly locate files you’ve used or received recently.
More complete desktop experience
More apps are resizable in Samsung DeX, so you can multitask and get more done throughout the day. You can also change the touchpad scrolling direction in DeX settings to match your personal preference.
Enhanced Edge panels
Keep your current app in view while using edge panels. Blurring has been removed to help you see more at once.
Resizable picture-in-picture
If a floating video is getting in the way, pinch your fingers together to make it smaller. Want to see more? Spread your fingers apart to make it bigger.
Quick access to pop-up window options
For easier multitasking, you can pin the window options menu to the top of the window to make it easier to access.
